Community Events: Newnan has annual clean ups of the City through Keep Newnan Beautiful programs. This Newnan Youth Council's 'Attack the Alleys', over 100 teens came downtown to cleanup on a Saturday morning.
Fun Events: Annual Taste of Newnan take place in the beautiful Court Square in Historic Downtown Newnan
Great Partnerships:  The City strives to form partnerships between local and state entities that move Newnan forward and make it a great place to live.
Iconic Newnan: The Carnegie is the only Carnegie Library in the U.S. to return to its roots after it closed in 1987 and now newly restored by the City is a library once again.
Safe and Secure: Newnan Fire Department offers station tours to local children groups.
The Arts: The City of Newnan Cultural Arts Commission presents the Friends of Wadsworth - The Legacy Continues Concert in the Wadsworth Auditorium. Photo by Bob Shapiro
Fitness Focus: There are many fun annual runs around downtown. The Labor Day Road Race is offered by Main Street Newnan and it is one of the largest in the city.

Community and Environment: With over 10 City Parks throughout the City, Newnan has planned green space.
